Saying "oui" to a spring marathon

The bad news: I didn't qualify for Boston at Baystate.
The good news: I'm going to run the Paris Marathon on April 10, instead

This allows me to keep almost the exact same training schedule I'm used to for Boston, but to also be local on Marathon Monday so I can cheer on my friends who ARE running. But more importantly, it allows me to enjoy April in Paris by doing a race that takes me by the Eiffel Tower and Arc du Triomphe, and finishes on the Champs Élysées.

Time to learn a few key French phrases like:
- Where's the toilet?
- More wine, please
- Pass the baguettes
- I finally broke 3:40

Time to start training!

Do you still want to run Boston? Team Eye and Ear still has a few bibs left to fill our team. You can find out more about our team at www.masseyeandear.org/TeamEyeAndEar but we are non-profit hospital and all the money raised will go to the research and departments done here. As I said, if you are interested in running with Team Eye and Ear, please contact Kristina Sym at kristina_sym@meei.harvard.edu or (617) 573-6364.
